The Cure for Corporate Writer’s Block

Does your B2B or B2C content marketing program suffer from writer’s block?

Writers aren’t the only ones who can have writer’s block. Your company may have a long list of world-beating topics and content marketing ideas, but they can only have an impact once they’re written. Too often, great ideas languish in company files because finding a reliable, experienced writer can seem like a daunting task. Putting it off becomes a kind of corporate “writer’s block” that prevents your market from hearing your full message.

Here’s some good news: If you’re here, you’re already on the way to unblocking your content marketing bottleneck and telling your story to your audience.

The most compelling stories are crafted by experienced storytellers

Brand, industry and audience knowledge are crucial to effective content marketing—and so is good storytelling. A skilled and experienced writer helps you move prospects to action with a narrative that cements your brand’s authority and trustworthiness and makes decisions easier for your customers.

That’s what I do. With more than two decades of writing experience across multiple media platforms and formats, I can craft your message to serve your goals, whether they are to:

My services go beyond the words on the screen. I have extensive experience researching and developing topics for direct clients, developing pitches for agency clients, and managing content delivery schedules. These services free up my clients to spend more time on their big picture.

Freelance writing since 1995

Over the course of my career, I’ve written for travel and parenting magazines, radio and television news programs, and commercial clients’ web sites and blogs. I’ve been writing and editing for publication and fabulous prizes since my teens. The power of words to make things happen became fully clear to me when I spun a painful episode–falling into a giant cactus–into an essay that got me into the Plan II Liberal Arts Honors Program at the University of Texas.

When I’m not writing, I study Middle Eastern dance, avoid cacti, and plot my next travel adventure.
